PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

By focusing on the writing feel and devoting ourselves to creating the ultimate nibs using master craftsmen who have inherited traditional techniques, we have earned such a reputation and trust that it is now said that "when it comes to fountain pen nibs, it's Sailor."
The outstanding writing feel gives you a solid feeling that allows you to enjoy the true joy of a fountain pen. This proud nib is a masterpiece that only a skilled craftsman can make.

The development of "Naginata Sharpening"
The naginata sharpening technique, which has been handed down since the company was founded in 1911, disappeared for a time after the war as mass production of fountain pens progressed and nib processing became more mechanized. However, the technique has been passed down by pen craftsmen such as Koyama Gunichi and Nagahara Nobuyoshi.
Around 1991, based on customer feedback, Nobuyoshi Nagahara aimed to create a "fountain pen that can be written at an angle," and revived the sharpening method used at the time of the company's founding by further improving it into the modern Naginata sharpening method.
