LEUCHTTURM1917 Drehgriffel Nr.2 Pencil - Sage Green
SHARE
The LEUCHTTURM1917 Drehgriffel Nr. 2 in Sage Green is a compact twist-mechanism mechanical pencil built for smooth, precise everyday writing and sketching. Its 0.7 mm HB graphite lead makes it a nimble companion for notes, journaling, or fine linework.
The body is precision-milled from aluminium, with a front tip milled from polished steel that forms a clean transition to the lead. A quarter-twist of the head advances the lead and locks it in place when you release it. Inside, a refill chamber holds several leads at once and automatically feeds the next one forward as you use them up, so you can keep writing without constantly reloading. Finished in Sage Green, this Drehgriffel Nr. 2 reflects the design language that has earned LEUCHTTURM1917's writing instruments Red Dot Design Award recognition.

Twisting the head opens a gripper at the tip and pushes the lead forward. Releasing the twist closes the gripper again, locking the lead securely in place for writing.
It takes standard 0.7 mm graphite leads in HB hardness. Genuine LEUCHTTURM1917 refills come in packs of twelve.
The internal chamber holds several leads at a time and automatically advances the next one once the current lead runs out, so you can write for longer between refills.
The Drehgriffel Nr. 2 is a mechanical pencil that uses graphite lead rather than ink. Its companion, the Drehgriffel Nr. 1, is the ballpoint/gel pen version of the same design.
Beyond Sage Green, LEUCHTTURM1917 offers the Drehgriffel Nr. 2 across a range of solid colours, plus special editions like the Bauhaus and Bullet Journal versions.
