The Forever Wave takes its name from its fluid, three-dimensional form, which looks as though it has been shaped by motion itself. Its perforated body is produced through controlled 3D-printing, a manufacturing process that allows for intricate, parametric detailing while keeping material waste to a minimum.
This Ethergraf edition keeps the design purely about the gesture of writing — the metal alloy tip leaves a fine, graphite-like mark through natural oxidation rather than ink. Set into its natural maple wood base, made in Italy, it becomes a small architectural piece on the desk between uses.
