The LEUCHTTURM1917 Drehgriffel Nr. 1 Gel Pen — Bullet Journal Edition in Black was developed together with Ryder Carroll, the creator of the Bullet Journal method, as the official companion pen for the international Bullet Journal community.
The barrel is lacquered aluminium that has been sandblasted for a slightly grainy, matte surface with a comfortable grip, while the long, distinctive tip and twist head are made of brass for balance and durability. A lightning bolt — the mark of the Bullet Journal community — is engraved into the twist head, and the LEUCHTTURM1917 logo sits discreetly against the glossy black lacquer of the mid-section. It ships with a 0.5 mm black gel refill using a ceramic ball bearing for a fine, document-proof line.
